Такая мера, по специальным графикам, может быть переведена в относительные показатели (процентные значения). Микроволновым является потоковый влагомер нефти МВН-1,3.

Суть оптического метода состоит в том, что водонефтяная смесь проверяется на просвет, т.е. измеряются её оптические свойства (светопропускание).
